In this era and its uncertain seasons there are so many jokers in high places! We have been greeted and served with political comedy, economic grandstanding and religious gerrymanding. Lightweight posing as heavyweight, unpopular trutting as famous, pecuniary delinquents boasting vaultful of kudi! Quite a spectacular spectacle.
As the primaries have shown us, power is returning to the people. Many self-deluding politicians have seen the capacity of the electorate. Yet this is just the in-house vetting or weeding process of their own parties! Alas, the real thing cometh in the general elections. Dem go see pepper!
Well, several such losers are crying foul. Maybe so. But jumping boat is hardly the guarantee they so badly seek. Some will make it, most will not. And our people hate humiliation: they are so sold to rigging that they've abolished the electorate for so long. Now they are paying!
It feels good to see the demystifying dynamics of change, positive change, especially the routing of godfatherism, moneybags and political brigandage. "One Man One Vote" is taking root in the land!
Pray for us o, we need fresh hands at the tills nationwide. We are starting well. Very soon the fields will be weeded by Man and God.
